PCBN Full Round Discs and Cutting Tips
DIAMONDS – PCBN, carbide backed and solid is available in high and low CBN grades, optimised for roughing or finishing cast iron and hardened steels as well as special alloys. Our Polycrystalline Cubic Boron Nitride (PCBN) products have a metal-ceramic binder matrix in the cutting layer. Due to the good conductivity of the matrix material, both the carbide-backed raw plates and the solid PCBN can be machined by wire-edm without any problems (exception DBNS 962).
