DSBN-CBN Abrasive Powder
We offer a broad selection of CBN grades for machining ferrous materials.
Our DSBN abrasives differ in terms of impact strength/ toughness as well as in the grain shape and the related cutting ability and self-sharpening effects.
DSBN powders are available in sizes from 30-400 mesh. In addition, some DSBN grades are also available as micron powders.
Depending on the type of bond and the application, the DSBN products are also available with different coatings.

DSBN-AX
Amber-coloured CBN powder that is easy-cutting.
Semi-blocky shape, lower grain strength than DSBN-A30, good microfracture properties.
Usage: in all types of bindings.
DSBN-A30
Amber-colored CBN quality. Compact particle shape, medium-strength grain with many crystal points.
Usage: electroplated bonds.
DSBN-B
Easy-cutting CBN with irregular grain surface.
Good microfracture properties ensure low grinding forces.
Usage: Vitrified bonds and synthetic resin bonds.
DSBN-B80
Solid black CBN with high thermal stability.
Good cutting properties due to the sharp-edged crystals.
Usage: suitable for use in electroplating, metal bonds and in vitrified bond systems.
DSBN-M75
Medium-strength, brown CBN quality with very compact grain shape and good cutting properties.
Usage: excellent for use in electroplated bindings.
DSBN-M80
Brown CBN abrasive of irregular, very sharp-edged structure.
Very high heat resistance and grain strength.
Usage: The main areas of application are vitrified bindings.
