Diamond and CBN Micron Powder
Diamond’s synthetic and natural micro-diamond and micro CBN-powders are manufactured under strict control of the production process from carefully selected raw materials. Micron-powders are required for grinding, polishing or lapping glass, ceramics, stone or PCD, among others, as well as for special coatings. Available in all standard micro sizes.
DSD Micron+
Has an exceptionally compact grain shape and thus allows a particularly narrow grain size distribution. High impact resistance.
Usage: Metal bindings or loose for lapping and polishing.
DSD Micron-D
The irregular, sharp-edged grain shape ensures very good free-cutting properties in addition to the fracture characteristics.
Usage: Polishing of stone, carbide or PCD.
DSD Micron-R
Due to the special grain structure and micro-fracture properties, Micron-R constantly forms new cutting edges in usage and enables a high removal rate and perfect surface quality.
Usage: Resin bonds and vitrified bond systems.
Natural micro-diamond – Natural Micron
Compact grain shape with sharp cutting edges, good fracture properties.
Free from metallic impurities.
Usage: electroplated bonds, medical technology.
CBN micro-grain
For ultra-fine machining of ferrous materials and polishing of surfaces, we also offer some of our CBN grades as micron powders. All common micro sizes are available, some with coating.
