Monocrystalline Synthetic Cutting Materials

Monocrystalline CVD Diamond and HPHT Diamond

Monocrystalline, synthetic diamonds are available in two variants, differing in the manufacturing process.

The yellow syntheses from high pressure high temperature synthesis (HPHT) are available as plates in 4-point orientation (MKD100).

Monocrystalline diamonds produced by the CVD process are, depending on the quality, grey-brownish to completely colourless crystals, which are used particularly in the optical industry. Plates of these syntheses are available in 4-point (MCDF-4P) as well as in 2-point orientation (MCDF-2P).
