Diamond Grits and Powders
DSD Synthetic Diamond Abrasive Powder
Our synthetic diamond abrasives are used in all types of bonds.
The qualities differ in the degree of crystallisation, so that the optimum product is available for every area of application.
All wheel size qualities are available from 60-400 mesh, partly also up to 600 mesh. In the even finer range, we offer our micron-powder in various qualities.
Crystal strength and heat resistance increase from DSD330 to DSD380, which consists of almost perfectly formed, uniform cubo-octahedral crystals.
We offer our diamond powder with different coatings on request.

DSD380
High-strength diamond powder with very well formed, uniform cubo-octahedral crystals.
Very high temperature resistance.
Usage: metal-bond tools with highest demands on crystal strength.
DSD370
Uniform diamond abrasive likewise with very good temperature and grain strength.
Usage: metal-bonded tools with high tool life requirements.
DSD360
Medium grain strength with good temperature resistance.
Combination of irregular, good cutting and uniform crystals.
Usage: versatile in metal bonds and electroplated bonds.
DSD350
Crushed and specially treated diamond abrasive with clear, bright particles. The very compact grain shape with an irregular surface ensures the best cutting properties and a firm hold in the binding.
Usage: optimised for use in galvanic bonds.
DSD340
Well-shaped, crushed diamond with many cutting edges and medium to low particle strength. Very good bond retention. Suitable for grinding stone.
Also available with Ni-coating.
Usage: Metal bonds, vitrified bonds and resin bonds as well as electroplated tools.
DSD330
Weakest monocrystalline diamond. Crushed, with irregular, sharp-edged particles.
Available with coating.
Usage: Metal bonds, vitrified bonds and resin bonds.
DSD320
"Resin bond grain" with multicrystalline structure.
Very good self-sharpening and free cutting properties.
Usage: Vitrified bonds and synthetic resin bonds.
DSD310
Diamond for resin bonds. Lower grain strength and higher friability than DSD320.
Usage: Resin bindings.
